We are so excited to be returning to live and in-person services this week at Kings Way Assembly. We have missed our family so much! Of course, with our return we will be doing our best to adhere to the guidelines set by the provincial government regarding the spread of Covid-19.
Kingdom Kids: There will be Kingdom kids ministry this and every Sunday moving forward. Pastor Carly is working hard on a plan that will help towards social distancing while still being interactive, instructive and fun. Most Sundays will be held outside during the warmer months.
Nursery: Nursery services are not available. The mother’s room is available for use, one mother at a time.
Reservations: Reservations are not required. But it would help us in being prepared if you let us know you are attending. Especially if you have a bubble that you will be sitting with. Bubble seating will increase our capacity. You can let us know you are coming by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or on our KWA Facebook page click contact us. You will receive a confirmation that we have received your notice that you are attending.
Masks: All who attend the service will be made to feel comfortable wearing a mask, if they choose to do so. According to the yellow phase guidelines, masks are not required unless social distancing is not possible. Please bring your own mask if you have one. Masks will be available at the church. Seating: All seating will adhere to physical distancing guidelines. The seating plan will consist of a 6-foot aisle dividing each of the three sections. Most rows will have a maximum of 4-5 seats. Families are asked to sit together. Also, family and close friend bubbles are allowed to sit together. One family, couple or individual per row unless in a family or close friend bubble. Sitting in a row that matches the size of your family will increase our capacity. For example, if a couple sit in a row that has 5 chairs, 3 of the chairs become “unusable”. Thanks for helping us to make room for as many as possible.
Offering: We will no longer pass the plate for the offering. For the foreseeable future offering boxes will be placed in accessible locations; the welcome desk on the way in and the table in the café on the way out.
Sanitizing: We will sanitize bathrooms, door pulls, and high-touch surfaces before and after each gathering.
Gatherings will be touch-less: Please do not make physical contact with other attendees. Please adhere to the social distancing requirement of 2 meters.
Coffee and Beverages: Coffee and beverages will not be served within the building. Feel free to bring these things from home for you and your family.
Seniors and Vulnerable Persons: If you are elderly, have pre-existing medical conditions, or are worried about virus spread in a gathered setting, please stay home and engage with our online experience. Do not join a live gathering if you feel uncomfortable, are sick or are at risk.
Restrooms: Limited to one person or parent with a child at a time.
Traffic Flow: Entrances and exits will be clearly marked. This will include entry doors as well as doors to the café and sanctuary. This is necessary to ensure social distancing. Please do your best to learn the new traffic pattern to assist with social distancing.
Online Services will continue to be available. This Sunday, June 28 we will be offering a repeated service from a previous week. The live service this Sunday and every following Sunday will be recorded, edited and posted on Facebook and YouTube during the week.
